True freshman guard Cailyn Long came off the bench and scored 17 points to help NSU snap its recent six-game losing streak. The RiverHawks defeated rival Central Oklahoma 74-61 thanks in large part to Long making 6 of 10 shots from the field and 5 of 8 attempts from behind the 3-point line. She has made five 3-point attempts in back-to-back games. The last time an NSU women's basketball player accomplished that feat was Feb. 20-24, 2010 (Megan Fraley).
