Kristina Savchenkov posted a perfect 8-0 mark over NSU's four matches this past week. Her biggest win of the week came in NSU's narrow 5-4 loss to No. 22 Drury, when she upset No. 12 Natalia Kozel 6-4, 3-6, 6-4. Northeastern State has begun the season 3-1, posting wins over Harding (9-0), Ouachita Baptist (9-0) and North Central Texas College (8-1).
