Terence Smith helped lead Northeastern State to a 1-0 road victory at Lindenwood this past week. The loss for the Lions was the first at home in 23 matches (Oct. 26, 2011). Smith, who played all 90 minutes at center back, anchored a defense that held LWU to just six shots, which was the fewest attempted by the Lions since Oct. 9, 2011 (26 matches). The shot total was also the fewest attempted by Lindenwood at home since Oct. 30, 2010. The last time Lindenwood was shutout at home was Oct. 11, 2012, by NSU.
