Freshman Bria Pierce helped lead the RiverHawks to a stunning road overtime victory over No. 9 Emporia State this past week. She scored a team- and career-high 12 points in the triumph over the Lady Hornets. She was also key defensively as NSU held ESU to its second-lowest point total (56) and its worst shooting percentage (.271) of the season. Pierce was also the only member of the team in double figures in a loss to Washburn as she tied her career high with 12 points.
