Ryan Helsley recorded the highest strikeout total of any pitcher in the MIAA this season. He registered 12 K's this past weekend against Southwest Baptist to help improve to 3-0 on the year. He struck out eight of the first nine Bearcats he faced and lowered his ERA to 1.89. The reigning MIAA Freshman of the Year conceded just three hits, and he leads the MIAA in K's per nine innings this season.
