Patricia Husakova posted a 6-2 record over the past week. Her only two losses were to the No. 4-ranked singles player in the nation and the No. 10-ranked doubles team in the nation.  She won both matches in an 8-1 victory over No. 19 Southwest Baptist, which included a doubles triumph over Fanni Varga and Maria Josie Zehnder. This was just the second doubles loss for Varga during the regular season since her freshman year. She was 52-1 over the last three years in doubles play. Husakova's singles win over the Bearcats came at the second position, where she toppled Zehnder 6-3, 6-3. Husakova also registered victories at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles against both No. 8 Columbus State and Johns Hopkins (No. 1-ranked team in NCAA D-III).
