Dustin Berrong made his first start and appeared in just his fifth game for Northeastern State this past weekend against Fort Hays State. He responded by ringing up a career-high 11 Tigers and conceding just one run on three hits in 6.0 innings. Only one of those hits were of the extra-base variety, and he also recorded a .143 opponent batting average and a 1.50 earned-run average. He only conceded one walk and did not throw a wild pitch or hit a batter.
