Ryan Helsley had a dominant performance against No. 16-ranked Missouri Southern State this past week. In the first game of the series, the sophomore helped shutout the regular-season champions by conceding just one hit (a single) in 6.0 innings of work. He also tied his career high with 12 strikeouts, while conceding just three walks. It was the first shutout of the season for Northeastern State, who would go on to win 6-0.
