Northeastern State Coach Randy Gipson
Opening Statement…
"We made some mistakes execution-wise. We had some bad turnovers on key possessions. There were a couple of key defensive possessions where we got them to miss the first shot, but they got second and third shots. Our turnover numbers weren't terrible and our rebounding numbers overall were not terrible, but in key moments we broke down in those areas. That's fatal when you're in a tight game. It was a one possession game most of the way there in the second half. The first team that can get a few easy points is going to be in good shape, and today it was them."
