NORTHEASTERN STATE COACH CHASE WOOTENStatement..."I thought we made good adjustments in the first half. We had a few things we wanted to improve from the Emporia State loss. We applied that really well in the first half. Then we had to shuffle a lot of players around so we were out of sorts. The last 40 minutes of the match we played hard, but we weren't connecting passes or getting shots. We missed a couple of good chances in the second half that made us feel like we weren't as dangerous of a team as we were in the first. Jordan (Woodruff) made some good saves and we were able to hold on for the win. Most games this season we've been more of a second half team and today was the opposite."
