TAHLEQUAH, OK- The #23 ranked Northeastern State women's soccer team remained unbeaten with a 3-1 victory over Emporia State on a cool evening at Deloach Field here Friday evening.

The RiverHawks improve to 9-0 and 2-0 in MIAA conference action, the Hornets fall to 2-5-2 and 0-2.

NSU broke open a scoreless game early in the second half as Anastasia Robinson's header off a cross from Julia Mathis netted the first goal of the game. Six minutes later the pair teamed up again only this time Mathis scored her league leading 11^th goal of the year to give the RiverHawks a 2-0 advantage.

Kelsey Macintyre's goal a few minutes later capped off the scoring for the RiverHawks, the Hornets added a goal with 30 seconds left to avoid the shutout.

NSU will continue MIAA action on Sunday afternoon as Washburn will visit Deloach Field. Game time is set for 1:00 pm.
