All-Time Series
The Northeastern State-Central Oklahoma series is the oldest and longest active rivalry games for the RiverHawks' football program. Â The 2017 edition will be the 78th meeting between the two programs in a series that started in 1912. Â In the last four decades, the series has been clumped in both directions, and the last time the teams traded wins back-and-forth was between 1974-77. Â Northeastern State trails the overall series 47-28-2 to the Bronchos.
The President's Cup
Beginning in 1998, following Northeastern State's move to NCAA Division II both institutions established the President's Cup Trophy which is awarded to the winner between the RiverHawks and Bronchos. Â In 19 President's Cup meetings, Northeastern State has brought home the trophy nine times, and last held possession of the cup from 2010-13. Â

Coaching Matchup
Rob Robinson is in his fourth season as head coach at Northeastern State. Â In three seasons at NSU, Robinson has 25 student-athletes who have been named All-MIAA, and 46 who were named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. Â Robinson was named the 19th head football coach in school history on Dec. 19, 2013 and spending previous 12 years under Craig Schurig as a member of the Washburn Ichabod coaching staff, serving as the offensive coordinator for his last four seasons at WU.Â
Nick Bobeck is in his sixth season as head coach of his alma mater. Bobeck is 28-37 overall through five seasons plus four games this year. He led UCO to an 8-4 record in 2014 and an appearance in the Mineral Water Bowl and followed that up with a 7-5 record in 2015 with a win in the Live United Bowl over longtime rival Southwestern Oklahoma State.
Being WiseÂ
NSU senior
La'More Wise is second in the MIAA and tenth in the nation on the defensive side with 11.1 tackles per game. Â Wise has 75 solo tackles which is only four off from the national lead this season, on Oct. 21 he had 12 at Nebraska-Kearney which was tied for fourth highest performance this season in NCAA Division II football.
La'More Wise is tied for second in the nation and leads the MIAA with five forced fumbles this season. Â
Good Knight
NSU senior
Gary McKnight Jr. is fourth in the MIAA in average yardage per game with 81.3 and in total reception yardage with 859. Â In the NCAA Division II era, McKnight is the sixth receiver to catch for over 1,000 yards and he is third in the NSU record books with 1,676 yards in the air.
McKnight is second the MIAA in yards per reception at 20.95 and is tenth nationally.
A Good Day To Be King
NSU senior
Zac King had a career afternoon at Central Missouri with 11 receptions for 130 yards, and a touchdown reception at the close of the second quarter. Â King's day against the Mules was the third highest total for a NSU receiver this season, and brought his season touchdown total to four. Â Prior to Saturday's contest, King's prior career mark was 93 yards against Nebraska-Kearney last season. Â The last time NSU had a receiver with more than ten receptions was Garrett Powell (14) against Emporia State on Sept. 27, 2014
The Long Ball
Rashawn Eubanks had his longest career reception in Week 7 against No. 1 Northwest Missouri with a 80-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. Â The reception by Eubanks was the longest given up by the Bearcats since the 2008 season.
2020 Vision
The Class of 2020 and 2021 is littered throughout the Northeastern State is projected starting lineup in week 11 with 11 who are either at freshman or sophomore classification against Central Oklahoma. Â On both sides of the ball, RiverHawks are projected to start only five seniors, with four coming on the offensive end.
Road Trip
Heading into the final week of the season, Northeastern State has racked up over 1,850 miles on the road one-way; a trip from Houston to Los Angeles is 1,550 miles.
