Opening Tip 

• Second of four straight home contests for the RiverHawks.
• The RiverHawks are 3-0 at home the first time since the 2013-14 season.
• Northeastern State had double-digit leads in all four games this season
• Tanner Mouse is leading the RiverHawks in scoring with 17.8 points a game, and is shooting 52.5-percent from the field. 
• Caleb Smith is second on the NSU roster with 14.8 points a game and has 4.3 assists per outing.
• Northeastern State is third in the MIAA in field-goal percentage at 47.5-percent.

About the Patriots

• Lost on Tuesday evening at Cameron, 79-78, in the final seconds.
• The Patriots shot 90 percent from the free-throw line in the loss at Cameron, their highest all season.
• Fell out of the top-25 but was picking up votes in this week's NABC poll.
• Led in scoring by redshirt-senior JT Harris, who is averaging 16.8 points a game.
• Picked to win the Heartland Conference.
• Finished last season with a 26-6 overall record and won the Heartland Conference Tournament.

RiverHawks vs. Patriots Series

• Third straight year they have met in non-conference play.
• The Patriots won, 80-65, in the their lone visit to Tahlequah. 
• Head Coach Mark Downey is 2-1 in his career against DBU.
• Northeastern State has lost in all three meetings with Dallas Baptist.

Looking Back

• Tanner Mouse had a game high 19 points with 13 of those coming from the free-throw line at home vs. Oklahoma Baptist.
• Caleb Smith dished out a season best seven assists.
• D'Angelo Jackson left a rebound short of a double-double with 16 points and four assists.
• Following a three-pointer by the Bison to start the second half, the RiverHawks scored 11 straight and never trailed the rest of the way.

Out of 14 teams, Northeastern State was picked 12th in the MIAA Preseason Coaches poll and 14th the media.

Senior transfer D'Angelo Jackson starts the season with 1,203 career points in-between stops at Eastern Illinois and Highland CC.  Jackson has a career average at over 15 points per game and was selected as a NJCAA All-American.

• In four games, Jackson is averaging 11 points, and is shooting 53.6% from the field.

Carrying Over
Tanner Mouse continued were he finished last season and has eight straight games with 10+ points.  The senior is averaging 15.8 points in the last eight games, which is more than double his career average (7.7).
