ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Four runs in the final two frames gave Northeastern State its second comeback of the day, beating Ouachita Baptist 5-2 on Friday afternoon.
Earlier in the morning, NSU came from behind twice to snatch an 8-5 win over Missouri S&T to open the season at 2-0.

Alyssia Crick had a game tying double in the sixth and went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI scored.
The RiverHawks had eight of its nine players in their starting lineup record a hit against the Tigers in the win.
Ouachita Baptist (0-1) plated a run in the second and Crick plated a run on a ground out scoring her sister Sierra in from third to tie the game in fourth.

Later in the seventh, the RiverHawks got a tough insurance run off a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch and their fifth run of the game on a wild pitch.
Northeastern State returns to action on Saturday with a doubleheader starting at 9 a.m. facing UT-Tyler and then Henderson State.
