TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State went hitless in an 8-0 run-ruled outing against #2-ranked Central Oklahoma in their opening game of a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon.
The loss is the third straight for NSU who falls to 20-16 and 9-4 in the MIAA.
The RiverHawks played from behind after the Bronchos (30-3, 12-1 MIAA) hit around the order to put up five runs on six hits.
After a pair of scoreless innings, UCO padded their lead in the fourth off a pair of fielder's choice RBI to go up 7-0.
In the fifth, Central Oklahoma hit a solo shot to center to extend their lead to out eight.
