RiverHawks add four to 2019 Recruiting Class

TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State head women's basketball coach Fala Bullock announced the addition of four players to their 2019 recurring class on Thursday.  Bullock will add Aubrey Brown (Tahlequah), Reagan Brown (Fort Worth, Texas), Satori Roberson (San Diego, Calif.), and Shae Sanchez (Coquitlam, British Columbia) to NSU's roster for the upcoming 2019-20 season.

The RiverHawks will have nine newcomers to their roster with the addition of Zaria Collins (Plano, Texas), Britney Ho (Wichita, Kan.), Isabella Regalado (Sand Springs, Okla.), Tessa Talo-Tomokino (Auckland, New Zealand), and Tahlequah native Jonia Walker being announced in late March.

Aubrey Brown / 5'5 / Point Guard / Tahlequah, Okla. / Sequoyah HS

Helped lead Sequoyah HS to the Oklahoma State Tournament Semifinals in 2019 while winning back-to-back State Championships with the Lady Indians in 2017 and 2018…played in four straight State Tournaments and earned Second Team All-Tournament Honors in the 2017 State Tournament…career record at SHS was 99-17…a 2019 Native American All-State nominee, two year member of National Honor Society, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes member.

"Another local product and Sequoyah HS player joining the RiverHawks program is exciting. Aubrey has won two State Championships and played on the big stage in our state her entire career. She's a point guard that will grow for the next few years and her IQ and feel for the game will transition well to the MIAA." – Coach Bullock

Reagan Brown / 5'9 / Guard / Fort Worth, Texas / Southwest Christian

Started her high school career at Aledo High School before transferring her senior season to Southwest Christian in Fort Worth…awarded First Team All-District, team MVP, and Newcomer Award after averaging 19.5 points, eight assists, four blocks and three rebounds per game…two time State Qualifier in Cross County along with All-Conference and All-District…has also completed 45 Service Hours in her spare time.

"Reagan comes from a Southwest Christian High School where she led the team in many areas most notably in scoring. She gives us more depth at the wing position as she is a great 3-point shooter making 85 on the year. She will help us stretch the defense and bring energy every day. Reagan is also an excellent student and servant leader in her community." – Coach Bullock

Satori Roberson / 6'3 / Center / San Diego, Calif. / Grossmont College / La Jolla HS

Competed at Grossmont College in San Diego, Calif. for two seasons…she battled back from injury during her sophomore year to average 8.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.9 blocks and 1.6 steals in 16 games… Pacific Coast Athletic Conference-South Second Team Selection.

"Satori brings length and an inside presence to our 2019 class. With time and development, Tori can be one of the best in the league. She runs the floor great and has good hands. Her ceiling is high, and her natural ability along with athleticism make her an immediate impact player to our program." – Coach Bullock

Shae Sanchez / 5'8 / Guard  / Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada / College of Sequoias / Riverside HS

Played two seasons at College of Sequoias in Visalia, Calif…recorded 13.9 points, 4.6 rebounds 1.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game in her sophomore campaign… earned Central Valley Conference First Team both seasons…named First Team CCCAA All-State as a sophomore and Third Team following her freshman season.

"Shae has played for a great junior college program with Coach Ray Alvarado and College of Sequoias. She has been an integral part of back-to-back State Tournament Quarterfinal appearances and in two season was 56-8. She is a competitor and has great IQ. Shae shoots the long ball well and will bring experience to our wing position." – Coach Bullock
