KANSAS CITY, Mo. – 37 Northeastern State student-athletes garnered MIAA Academic Honor Roll recognition by earning a 3.0 GPA or higher, league officials announced in a press release.

Of that number, 17 boasted a GPA higher than a 3.5, with one holding a perfect 4.0-grade point average.

Lexi Armon and Ebba Moberg of Women's Golf, Gail Young and Kyla Ibarra from Softball, Karla Tomaic (Women's Tennis) and Jaxon Phipps (Baseball) were named MIAA Scholar-Athlete for having at least a 3.50 GPA and earning an All-Conference honor. 

NSU Baseball and Softball led the spring sports 11 student-athletes with earning MIAA Honor Roll recognition.  Men's Golf was third with six, and women's tennis came in fourth with five.

The Academic Awards for all first-year student-athletes (freshmen and transfers) will be announced on Tuesday, June 18.
