Opening Tip 

• First games this season out of the state of Oklahoma and first true road game since the season opener at Northwestern Oklahoma. 
• Cenia Hayes is third in the MIAA in scoring with 17.3 points a game and enters the weekend needing one point to reach 750 in her career.  The junior leads NSU with 38 consecutive starts. 
• Northeastern State's three-point defense percentage (24.2) is tops in the MIAA and ninth in the nation. 
• NSU has the ninth-best free-throw percentage in the nation at 79.2%.
• The RiverHawks have the second-lowest amount of fouls in the MIAA (159).
• Tree Brooks leads the NSU roster with 101 total collegiate games played.
• Shae Sanchez is fifth in the MIAA, with 33.4 minutes played per game this season.  The junior has averaged 2.2 three-pointers per game this season.

The Series With Northwest Missouri...

• The Bearcats snapped a six-game series winning steak for NSU with a 62-59 victory in Tahlequah last season.
• NSU has won the last three contests at Northwest and holds a 4-2 advantage in Maryville. 
• Head Coach Fala Bullock is 1-1 against the Bearcats all-time.

About the Bearcats

• First home games for the Bearcats since Nov. 21.
• Have not won its MIAA home opener since 2012.
• Northwest is ranked 14th in the country in scoring defense by holding opponents to 52.6 points per game.
• Bearcats are 12th nationally in free-throw percentage at 79.1.
• Averaging 9.6 three-pointers a game, the Bearcats are 14th nationally with Jaelyn Haggard pacing NWMSU with 27 this season.
