SAN ANGELO, Texas – The RiverHawks dropped its first of two matches Friday, and lost to #16-ranked St. Edward's 5-2 at Angelo State's campus.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Northeastern State took a doubles point but struggled in singles play to the Hilltopers.
St. Edward's took all but the main singles court for their sixth win of the season. #3-ranked Tatjana Stoll was forced to a third set but came out with a 6-7, 6-3, 10-5 win.
BEYOND THE BOX
- Second straight loss to the Hilltopers but the RiverHawks hold a 10-3 all-time series lead.
- St. Edward's had swept three straight matches heading into Friday's match against NSU.
