SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A Cameron Conrad go-ahead sac fly salvaged a split Saturday for the RiverHawks. Northeastern State handed invite hosts Drury a 2-1 loss and dropped a 5-3 ballgame to Southwest Baptist in the nightcap.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers plated a run in the opening inning on Young, who would only allow two-hits all game.
Drury would have shots to extend their lead in the second, but they left two runners on, and again in the fifth, they would leave a pair stranded.
An Addie Elbon double to open the sixth led into the tying run off the batt of Jess Schuler, who singled her in later in the inning. In the seventh, a leadoff error by Drury and a passed ball put an NSU runner in scoring position. Conrad would advance the runner home on a fly ball to right for the eventual winning run.
BEYOND THE BOX
- Second win over the Panthers this season with both teams meeting in the opening weekend of the season.
- Elbon had a three-hit game for the third time this season.
- Young struck out six batters and won her 41st career game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Southwest Baptist scored a run in the first and two-out error in the second led to three crossing home plate.
Trailing by four in the fifth, the RiverHawks scored a run of a sac fly and got a run in the sixth off a Sierra Crick two-out double.
The Bearcats would get an insurance run in the sixth on a sac fly to go up 5-2 on NSU. In the seventh, Conrad hit a two-out single for the team's third run of the game.

- Second loss in consecutive days to SBU.
- Hannah Hasle came in and spun 4 1/3 innings with three strikeouts.
