OKLAHOMA CITY – A doubles point proved to be the difference in a 4-3 loss for Northeastern State in their season opener against Tarleton State Friday. #3-ranked Tatjana Stoll won on the main court for the RiverHawks, 6-1, 6-3, over #35-ranked Alicia Barbaroux.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After Emma Warnock and Betka Gombarova won 6-2 in number-3 doubles, the Texans earned win in the top two doubles spots to take the first point over the RiverHawks.
In singles play, the middle of the NSU line-up fell on courts two through four to allow TSU to win their second match of the season. Melissa Vera won 6-2, 6-2 in five singles, and Chloe Certain took six singles in her debut, 6-3, 6-1.
