- Four members of the NSU basketball team has seen Central Missouri before Thursday. Â Troy Locke is NSU's leading returner to face UCM and had eight points last season against the Mules. Â NSU's current leading scorer, Brad Davis, did not play the Mules last season due to injury.Â
- Northeastern State leads NCAA Division II Men's Basketball with 271 free throw attempts and is second with 188 made free throws.
- Injuries, COVID-19, and personnel changes have limited the NSU roster this season. Â Three of NSU's original starting five are out of the season. Â Two bench players are out of the year, and three active players have missed a combined nine games.Â

The Series with Central Missouri
- Northeastern State has won the last two games against Central Missouri.Â
- Last season's 79-63 win for NSU in Tahlequah is the largest for the RiverHawks over the Mules. Â
- NSU has not beaten the Mules consecutively in Warrensburg.Â

- The Mules snapped a 19 game road losing streak last Saturday with a 62-57 win at Newman.Â
- After missing the seven games of the season, Koray Gilbert has led the Mules in scoring in the last two games averaging 20 points.Â
- Cameron Hunter leads the MIAA with 60 made free throws and is third nationally.Â
- For NSU, which leads the nation in free-throw attempts, the Mules lead the country with the most fouls (230).
- Central Missouri is second nationally with 95 steals and is second to fellow MIAA foe Missouri Western (101).Â
- Junior guard Jalen Blaize played with NSU's Obi Agu at Western Wyoming in the last two seasons.Â
- Junior forward Mohammed Abubakar played the RiverHawks once as a freshman at Oklahoma Baptist.Â
Looking Back
- Freshman Dillon Bailey led Northeastern State with a career-high 16 points and was joined by three teammates in double figures in a 74-67 loss at Rogers State.
- NSU closed the first half on a 9-0 run in the final 4:07 of the contest, and Bailey scored all but two of them to lead 30-26.
- A total of 53 fouls were called, with five players from both teams fouled out and three technical fouls being accessed.
- Brad Davis was NSU's second-leading scorer with 14 to push his streak of 10+ games to eight.Â
