NSU hosts Lopers, and Tigers for Senior Day

TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State will host Nebraska-Kearney and Fort Hays State for the final regular-season home contests of the season this weekend. 

The RiverHawks (6-5-3, 3-3-1 MIAA) have won two in a row and are tied with Washburn for sixth place with ten points.  With four regular-season matches remaining, NSU is above the cut line for the MIAA Tournament, which takes the top-8 teams.  

Northeastern State is five points back with four matches remaining to crack into the top four to host a first-round MIAA Tournament match. 

Hannah Stettler has scored a goal in the last three matches, Callie Rucker leads NSU with 14 points and is 20th in the nation with six assists. 

History with the Lopers
The RiverHawks have a 4-3-1 series edge over the Lopers with the home team tending to have the advantage.  Northeastern State is 3-0 at home, with Nebraska-Kearney 3-1-1 on their home pitch. 

Scouting the Lopers (2-12, 1-6 MIAA)
- Nebraska-Kearney heads into their match with the RiverHawks on a five-game skid and has scored multiple goals only once in the regular season.
- The Lopers are first in the MIAA averaging 7.29 saves per game with goalkeeper Emery Mounce having 47 saves. 
- UNK is second to last in the nation in shutout percentage (.071).

History with the Tigers 
Northeastern State is 6-3 against Fort Hays State with the RiverHawks holding a 3-0 record at home against the Tigers.  Fort Hays State has not made a visit to NSU since 2017.

Scouting the Tigers (5-6-3, 3-3-1 MIAA)
- Fort Hays State snapped a three-game skid with a 1-0 win at Missouri Southern on Saturday.
- Away from home FHSU is 1-3-2 and has four 1-0 losses this season.
- Deonna Wellbrock is tenth nationally in minutes played at goal and holds the MIAA's top save percentage at (0.853).
