Opening Tip
  • By the time NSU hits the floor on Thursday, 11 days have passed since the last contest.
  • With the NSU coaching staff under COVID-19 protocols, retired head coach Larry Gipson (1997-2014) has supervised practices for the program in their absence.
  • Luck has not been with the RiverHawks in several games this season, with eight losses coming inside of ten points.
  • The RiverHawks have started the same five in the last eight games.  However, for the first time since the 2015-16 season, NSU will not have a player start every game this season.
  • Daniel Dotson has faced the Lopers three times and has averaged 8.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per outing.  The sophomore is shooting 66-percent from the field against UNK.   In the meeting this season at UNK, he had 11 points off the bench and 4-for-5 shooting.
  • Of NSU's projected lineup for Thursday's game, Rashad Perkins is the lone player not to face UNK.
  • Injuries, COVID-19, and personnel changes have limited the NSU roster this season.  Three of NSU's original starting five are out of the season.  Two players are out of the year due to injury, and three active players have missed a combined 11 games.
NSU individual player notes are on page one of the game notes.
