WARRENSBURG, Mo. --
Carly Kelley hit a go-ahead two-out double in the sixth to give Northeastern State a 3-2 win over Concordia St. Paul Sunday evening.
The win gave NSU a split over the weekend as they closed out non-conference regular season play 14-8 overall.
Concordia St. Paul (6-8) led the RiverHawks 1-0 through four innings before
Alyssia Crick hit her seventh homer of the season to even the game. The Golden Bears pulled back ahead in the bottom half of the inning, scoring on a sacrifice fly.
Chloe Bohuslavicky opened the sixth off with a double, and
Addy Wolfe plated the tying run with a single to left center. Following a pitching swap and a ground out, Kelley brought in the eventual winning run home on her fourth double of the season.
Northeastern State out-hit the Golden Bears 7-to-6, with Wolfe having a two-hit game.
Rhomie Bradshaw had a hit and swiped her 11th bag of the season.
Gail Young (10-3) tossed a six-hit game and allowed just the one earned run.
The RiverHawks will return home to host Northwest Missouri and Missouri Western for a pair of doubleheaders starting on Saturday.
