JOPLIN, Mo. --
Chloe Bohuslavicky hit her seventh homer of the season to tie the game in the sixth, but Missouri Southern would win 4-3 on a walk-off to take the first of two games Friday.
A leadoff error in the seventh allowed the eventual winning run to cross home as the RiverHawks dropped to 19-12 overall (7-6 MIAA).
Cameron Conrad had two of the RiverHawks seven hits and scored a run to tie the game at 2-2 in the third inning.
Rhomie Bradshaw also homered in the third but got a rare inside-the-park round-tripper on a ball that rolled to the centerfield wall.
With the game tied at 3-3 in the sixth, NSU missed an opportunity for a go-ahead run with runners at first and second and no-outs. NSU batters would pop up twice and fly out to end the threat.
Gail Young (13-5) struck out seven batters and allowed two earned runs to Missouri Southern (16-11, 7-4 MIAA).
