TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State women's tennis head coach Tim McLane announced the signing of Roos Karremans to a National Letter of Intent Thursday.

Karremans will come to NSU in the Fall of 2022 and is a native of Tessenderlo, Belgium, where she has a current UTR rating of 7.83 and a career-high of 9.01 in April 2021.   

"We are very excited to have Roos joining us here at NSU," said McLane. "Roos is a good athlete who we feel has a real high ceiling, and she's going to continue to develop into a really solid player during her collegiate career. Her ball-striking ability from the baseline is going to make her a very tough matchup for anyone she plays, and we feel she's going to be a great addition to our team off the court as well."

Karremans is the second incoming Fall 2022 freshman and joins Sandra Mari Marti on the NSU roster.
