BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Southeastern Oklahoma attacked early and run-ruled Northeastern State 8-0 in five innings Friday.
Southeastern (3-4) hit a pair of homers and scored eight in the opening three innings on the RiverHawks' pitching staff.
Northeastern State (3-2) put runners on but left the bases loaded twice without eating into the Savage Storm lead.
The RiverHawks had seven hits:
Sydney Balderrama and
Rhett Looney were 2-for-2 at the plate.
Madison Heinle (1-1) struck out two but gave up six runs on seven hits.
Northeastern State closes the day out with Maryville at 1 p.m.
