BETHANY -- Northeastern State completed the four-game sweep of Southern Nazarene with an impressive 14-5 victory at Feland Field here Saturday afternoon.

The RiverHawks improved to 5-2 on the year while Southern Nazarene falls to 1-7.

It was a unique offensive performance for NSU as nine different players collected an RBI, eight players scored, and seven players had at least two hits.

After falling behind 2-0 after the first inning, NSU used the big inning to retake control with five runs in the second and posted five more in the fifth inning to cruise to the victory.

Trey Havens (1-0) picked up his first win of the season, giving up three runs and scattered five hits in two innings of work.

C.D. White led NSU with three hits on the day, Blaze Brothers and Brock Reller each doubled twice, Brayden Rodden, Blake Freeman, and Collin Klingensmith had two hits apiece.

Northeastern State will make its 2022 home debut on Tuesday, February 15, as Southeastern Oklahoma State comes to town. First pitch is set for 2:00 pm.
