Carlos Gomez and
Brett Wilcoxen shot matching 149s to lead the RiverHawks to seventh after two rounds of the Rattler Invitational Monday. The pair sit tied for 23th on the individual leaderboard, 5-over on the par-72, 6,937 yard Dominion Country Club.
Northeastern State had a steady day overall, landing 108 pars, good for second-best in the 14 team field. However, they were limited to 17 birdies, tied for second-fewest.
On Monday,
Brayden Strickland was one of two golfers with two eagles, landing one in each round.
NSU's four-team score landed at a 603 (298-305), and outside of tournament host, St. Mary's are the first team not ranked on the leaderboard.
