TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State women's tennis will add a match this Wednesday and hosts Arkansas Tech for the team's home opener.
The RiverHawks and Golden Suns faced each other individually in the fall but have not played a dual match since 2016.
Arkansas Tech has not come to NSU since 2013, with the RiverHawks leading the All-Time series 12-2.
Northeastern State opened its spring season with an exhibition on Jan. 23 against Wyoming and is 2-0 overall, with wins coming in the fall. Arkansas Tech was picked to finish third in the Great American Conference and had one first place vote. The Golden Suns went 11-6 in the 2021 season, reaching the GAC Tournament Semifinals.
First serve on Wednesday is scheduled for 2 p.m. on the NSU Tennis Courts.
