INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Northeastern State baseball is ranked No. 6 in the Central Regional Region. The poll is the first of three that will be released by the NCAA that will determine the field of 56 teams that will make up the tournament bracket.
Teams in the top eight in the Central Region will advance to two regional sites that will host games from May 19-22. Each site will feature four teams.
The ranking is the highest for the NSU baseball program in its history as an NCAA program.
Rankings will be released on NCAA.com on May 4 and 11, with the Championship Bracket being announced at 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 15.
