KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fifth-year senior Vera Carvalho earned All-MIAA Women's Tennis recognition Thursday with the announcement from Association officials of its postseason awards. 

Carvalho took Honorable Mention at No. 2 singles, where she went 9-6 this season and 4-3 against MIAA programs. 

In three seasons, the native of Lisbon, Portugal, won 26 doubles matches and 25 singles matches.  She climbed up the NSU lineup as a super-senior after playing No. 5 for the team in 2021.
