EDMOND – Northeastern State's season ended Friday in women's tennis with a 4-0 loss in the MIAA Tournament Quarterfinal to Central Oklahoma.
The Bronchos (18-1) claimed doubles with a 6-0 sweep on court three and a 6-2 win on court one.
In singles play, the RiverHawks could only claim a single game win on courts No. 1 and No. 3. UCO clinched the match win in under an hour by winning No. 4 singles, 6-1, 6-2.
The match is the final competition for graduating seniors:
Chiara Carnelutti,
Vera Carvalho,
Maria Popova,
Irene Romero,
Melissa Vera, and
Kristela Vidnere.
Northeastern State will conclude its season with a 5-15 record.
