INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –  For the third consecutive week, Northeastern State baseball remained ranked No. 6 in the Central Regional Region.  

There was no change among the top-eight in the poll, with St. Cloud State entering at No. 9 and Ouachita Baptist dropping one spot to tenth.  

If things remain the same, the RiverHawks will travel to Sioux Falls, S.D., for a sub-regional hosted by Augustana.  Southern Arkansas, ranked third in the poll, would be NSU's probable first-round opponent.  The two met in the first game of the season, with NSU winning that meeting, 7-5.   Augustana would host Pittsburg State in the other bracket matchup.

The field of 56 teams that will make up the NCAA tournament bracket will be announced on May 15 at 9 p.m.
