KANSAS CITY, Mo. --
Kaylee Petersen earned her second MIAA Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete honor Tuesday with the Association's Academic Awards announcement.
The recent graduate is one of eight women's golfers in the MIAA to be honored as a Scholar-Athlete for having at least a 3.50 GPA and earning an All-Conference/Region honor. Â She is one of three NSU golfers to earn multiple Scholar-Athlete awards from the MIAA.

Kelly Swanson, were placed on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for having at least a 3.00 GPA.
In the Academic Honor Roll category, 52 golfers were mentioned. Â To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 or above at the certifying member institution. Â The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
