KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Northeastern State had 14 members of its baseball team on the MIAA Honor Roll, Association officials announced Thursday.
Jonathan Smithey is the program's first six-time member of the Association's Honor Roll, which is reserved for those with a 3.0 GPA or better. The native of Flower Mound, Texas, was placed on the Scholar-Athlete list for being an All-MIAA selection and holding at least a 3.5 GPA.

Brayden Rodden joined Smithey as members of the MIAA Honor Roll and Scholar-Athlete.
Key and
T.J. Mullins are on the MIAA's Academic Excellence list for having a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Lee Callison,
Trey Havens,
Lucas McCain,
Lathen Migliorino,
Nathan Norris,
Quinten Romero, and
Braedan Warwick were also named to the MIAA's Honor Roll.
To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll list, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 or above at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
First-year students and newcomers will be recognized in a later release this summer by the MIAA.
