TEMPE, Ariz. – For the seventh consecutive year, Northeastern State earned All-Academic Team status from the ITA, with all members of the RiverHawks' squad from 2021-22 being honored as Scholar-Athletes.
Northeastern State topped the MIAA which had 44 overall selections with the program being one of six being named.Â
To achieve ITA Scholar-Athlete status, the student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year.
Criteria for the All-Academic Team accolade include a team GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the academic year, student-athletes must be listed on the institutional eligibility form and be letterwinners, and all student-athletes must be included on the nomination form.Â
There was a total of 715 Division II women's student-athletes selected as ITA Scholar-Athletes and 110 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction for the 2021-22 academic year.
