TAHLEQUAH -- The RiverHawks' tour bus continues with a trip south of the Red River to face Dallas Baptist for the first time in program history Wednesday at 7 p.m.

A quick look back…
Northeastern State went 1-1 in its opening week and was dealt a 2-1 setback at Missouri S&T Thursday evening before winning 2-1 Sunday afternoon at Drury.  Flynn Semmerling had a goal in both matches for the RiverHawks.

Scouting the Patriots (0-0-2)
  • Dallas Baptist played to a pair of draws in Bethany last week, with their opener being a scoreless match.  On Saturday, DBU got an equalizer in the 32nd minute in a 1-1 match at Southern Nazarene.
  • The Patriots were picked to finish ninth out of ten teams in the Lone Star Conference this season; they went 5-8 (2-6 LSC) one year ago.
  • Payton Franklin is an LSC Player to Watch on the Defense and was a Second Team All-Conference selection in 2021.
No Overtimes
The golden goal is no-more in the regular season; a rule change across all divisions of NCAA soccer has ended overtime play.

Chasing History
With 35 career goals, Flynn Semmerling is four behind Sergio Salinas (2003-04), who is second all-time in the men's soccer record and the NCAA era leader.

Coming Up
The RiverHawks will return to Springfield and are slated to face Maryville in a neutral site meeting on Sept. 4 at 3 p.m.
