TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State makes its second trek to Springfield Sunday and will face Maryville for just the second time in program history.  The match is slated to be played at the Allison Sports Town, between Interstate 44 and Missouri 266 and off exit 72. 
A quick look back…
Giani Mascarel scored his first career goal Wednesday evening as the RiverHawks (1-1-1) played Dallas Baptist to a 1-1 road draw.  
Miguel Torres led the RiverHawks with three shots on goal, and 
Niklas Kirhoff had a career-high seven saves. 
Scouting the Saints (1-2)
	- Maryville last played on Thursday, hosting Christian Brothers to a 2-0 setback in St. Louis. 
 
	- The Saints earned a No. 25 national preseason ranking and was one of two teams picked to win the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
 
	- Mirza Hasecic was a First Team GLVC First Team All-Conference and All-Region selection in 2021 after having seven goals and two assists.
 
History with the Saints 
Northeastern State last played Maryville in 2012 and was shutout 1-0 on their home field. 
No Overtimes 
The golden goal is no-more in the regular season; a rule change across all divisions of NCAA soccer has ended overtime play.
