Women's Soccer closes homestand with Harding Monday

TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State plays its final non-MIAA foe Monday where they will host Harding at 6 p.m. at DeLoache Field.

The RiverHawks are undefeated through their first three matches (2-0-1) and picked up a 1-nil win Friday evening in the 86th minute from Payton Lieb, who scored her second goal of the year.  Ainsley Cunningham earned her seventh career shutout and second of the season.

History with the Lady Bison
Monday will be the 23rd meeting between the two programs, with the RiverHawks winning the last nine against Harding.  In Tahlequah, Northeastern State is 11-0-1 when facing Harding.

Scouting the Lady Bison
  • Harding will play at Union (Tenn.) on Saturday before facing NSU.
  • The Lady Bison are 0-1-1 on the year with a 1-1 tie against Southwest Baptist.
  • Harding was picked to finish fifth in the Great American Conference after going 6-10-2 in 2021.
