Sam Maceli paced Northeastern State with a 76 and carried them to second place following the first day of the Lady Tiger Classic.
The RiverHawks shot a 317 as a team, but they are 14 strokes back of Central Missouri. The Jennies have all five players inside the top 12 on the leaderboard.
Maceli shot an even back-nine and is tied for seventh place overall.
Aitana Hernandez turned in a 79 and was tied for 16th place.
Nina Lee was a shot behind her, tied for 19th place.
Yasmin Hang carded an 82 and is tied for 31st, and
Hanna Lignell shot an 87.
Northeastern State was third overall with 44 pars; birdies were few and far between on the Smoky Hill County Club, with just 62 being recorded between all 12 teams.
The RiverHawks will return to the course Tuesday for the final round paired with Central Missouri and Rogers State.
