EDMOND, Okla. – With one day in the books, Northeastern State sits in 12th place among competing teams at the NCAA Central Region Preview at the Kickingbird Golf Course.
The RiverHawks currently sit five strokes back from the top ten and one back from 11th-place Southwestern Oklahoma State. NSU completed the first round and most of the second before darkness ended Monday's action.
Gabe Replogle leads all RiverHawks, shooting a 70 in the opening round and hitting two-under before play was stopped in the second. Replogle is positioned just outside the top ten as part of a five-way tie for 11th.
Luis Chavez shot a 71 in the first round and was one-over with most of the second completed to finish the first day inside the top 30.
Brett Wilcoxen hit a 74 to start the tournament and improved in the next round to hit even-par mostly through the second.
Will Livermore shot a 76 in the first and was four-over in the second, while
Parker Rose added an opening round 75 with a six-over in the second round when play stopped.
Play resumes in Edmond tomorrow with the second and final day of action in the tournament.
