HAYS, Kan. – Three members of the 2023 Northeastern State men's soccer team received selections to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region Team, released Tuesday morning.
Ian Milla and
Davi Dornelles received First Team nods, while
Marcovich Brown received a Second Team selection.
Milla makes his first appearance as an All-Region selection after a stellar 2023 campaign. The redshirt freshman surrendered the fewest goals in the conference (14) and finished with the best save percentage (.818) in addition to tallying the most shutouts (eight) in the GAC/MIAA.
Dornelles concludes his collegiate playing career with his first All-Region appearance. It comes following a season where the senior landed two goals and finished in the GAC/MIAA's top ten in assists with five.
Both Milla and Dornelles now advance to All-American voting.
Brown's Second Team selection marks the culmination of a strong first season with the program. Over the course of the fall, Brown notched five assists to tie with Dornelles for the team lead.
