RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Northeastern State's defense collected a pair of Great American Conference men's soccer accolades Tuesday with defender William De Dios and goalkeeper Ian Milla being named as its Players of the Week by league officials.

Milla collected two shutouts for the RiverHawks last week to bring his season total to a GAC/MIAA best eight while holding the conference's lowest goals-against average (.766).  De Dios is the lone NSU player to start in all 17 matches and had a role on the RiverHawks' back line in both shutouts.  

The weekly accolades are the second of the season for Milla and first for De Dios with the men's soccer program collecting 23 since the start of the 2019 season. 

Northeastern State heads to Southern Nazarene on Friday for the GAC/MIAA Tournament at 7 p.m.
