TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State head women's tennis coach Tim McLane announced Thursday the signing of Sofia Kotliarova who will come to Tahlequah in the Spring of 2024 as an incoming freshman. 

The native of Kyiv, Ukraine had a career-high International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior World Ranking of 2197 and a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 7.48 in singles, and 7.90 in doubles. 

"We're very excited to have Sofia joining us for the spring season," said McLane.  "She's someone who physically and tactically we feel has a lot of upside and has room to grow into her game during her time here at NSU. She's going to give us a lift in our doubles lineup and will bring some good depth to our singles as well."
