SAN ANTONIO, Texas --
Christian Yanovitch earned a top-15 individual finish as the RiverHawks took sixth place at The Rattler Invitational Tuesday.
Northeastern State shot an 898 (300-306-292), moving up one spot on the team leaderboard with the third lowest round of the day. The RiverHawks were fifth out of 12 participating teams with 37 birdies and landed 147 pars.
Yanovitch shot a two-under-par 70, landing four birdies in his final round at the Dominion Country Club. He climbed up 17 spots on the leaderboard, shooting a 224 (78-76-70).
Carlos Gomez and
Ryan Morant were tied for 19th place overall shooting identical 226 scores.
Brett Wilcoxen was tied for a 27th (228), and
Gabe Replogle finished tied for 48th (236).
Cameron took the team title overtaking Dallas Baptist by a stroke on an 883 score. DBU's Key Coker and Sangha Park of UT Permian Basic shared medalist honors shooting a 210.
The RiverHawks will have pair of weeks off and will return to action in Las Vegas for the Warrior Intercollegiate.
