Baseball moves up series with Emporia State

TAHLEQUAH – Due to weather conditions this upcoming weekend, Northeastern State's baseball series with Emporia State has been moved up to start on Thursday afternoon.

The RiverHawks open its series at 2 p.m., followed by a second game Friday at 2 p.m.  NSU will wrap up the series on Saturday at 1 p.m.

NSU (6-5) will be coming into the series off a 12-7 road win at Southeastern Oklahoma.  The RiverHawks have won six consecutive games against Emporia State.

Emporia State (4-8) last played at Northwestern Oklahoma on Tuesday and fell 6-3 to the Rangers.  Like the RiverHawks, ESU has been displaced for several games this season and has played eight 'home' games at a local high school while the infield turf at Glennen Field is being replaced.

C.D. White will come into the series with a seven-game hitting streak, and Isaiah Keller has reached base in 11 consecutive games.

All three games will have live video coverage on The MIAA Network (PPV).
