Softball opens home slate Friday

TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State softball is at home for the first time this season and will host three teams on Friday and Saturday at RiverHawks Park. 

Four games will be played daily, with Northeastern State playing Bacone at 10 a.m. Friday and closing the day out with MidAmerica Nazarene at 4 p.m. The middle games will feature Bacone and Midland at noon and MidAmerica Nazarene facing Midland at 2 p.m. 

On Saturday, the RiverHawks open the day with Midland at 10 a.m. and wrap the festival at 4 p.m. with Bacone. MidAmerica Nazarene and Midland are the noon game. Bacone will face MidAmerica Nazarene at 2 p.m. before seeing Northeastern State. 

There will be no gate fee for any of the eight games this weekend at RiverHawks Park.  Video broadcasts ($) will be available on The MIAA Network for all four games Friday and Northeastern State's 10 a.m. game against Midland Saturday. 

The RiverHawks are 7-5 on the year and were 13-1 at home last season, holding a ten-game winning streak into the 2023 home slate.
