Women's Tennis hosts Angelo State Friday

TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State returns to the courts Friday morning, where they will host No. 20 Angelo State for a non-conference match.

Due to the weather, Friday's match will start earlier, with a first serve projected to begin at 9 a.m.

The RiverHawks are 2-0 to start the season, with wins over Ouachita Baptist and Southeastern Oklahoma last week.   Northeastern State hasn't started a season 3-0 since 2016 when they went 20-4 overall; and reached the NCAA Round of 16.

Angelo State is 4-1 to start the year and is 1-1 when facing MIAA programs.  The Rambelles won 4-2 over Northwest Missouri and lost 5-2 to Central Oklahoma; both matches were played in Edmond.

Northeastern State is 0-2 in its brief history with Angelo State.
